HOW TO DEAL WITH PEOPLE?


The most important aspect in acquiring skills to deal with people is to properly understand individuals and their basic nature. Human nature means the distinctive characteristics that include ways of thinking, feeling and acting, that human have naturally, free of the influence of culture.



Human nature can be considered as both a source of norms of conduct or ways of life, as well as presenting hindrances or limitations on living a good life. Along with the understanding of human nature, must understand individual differences.

Individuals differ in a variety of ways. No two individuals are same as they differ from each other in some way or the other. Hence it is essential to identify and understand this uniqueness in people. Such a difference or similarity among people explains individual differences.

 Once you have a proper understanding of human nature and people, once you have recognize why people do the things that they do, once you know and how and why people will react under certain circumstances. Then you can become a successful manager of people.

Understanding people and human nature implies recognizing people for what they are. People are many times interested in themselves, than others. The other person is multiple times more interested in himself than he is interested in you and vice versa. Similarly, you are more interested in yourself than in any other person in the world.

Primarily self thought and self interest control man’s actions. This knowledge that people are primarily interested in themselves provides us the basis on which to work in our interaction with the individuals also offers us power and skill in our dealings with other. A number of successful techniques emerge from this understanding. Therefore, it is most important for us to realize that people are primarily interested in themselves and not in us.

TALK ABOUT PEOPLE


When we converse to people, the most fascinating subject in the world to talk is to converse about themselves. Once we talk to them about themselves they will be deeply interested and very attracted. They will think well of us for doing that. When we talk to people about themselves, we are treating them the right way and working in tune with human nature. When we talk to people about ourselves, we are rubbing them the wrong way and working against human nature. One interesting way of using peoples’ interest in themselves in conversation is to get them talking about themselves. The people would rather talk about themselves than about any other subject. If we can manage people into conversing about themselves they will like you very much.

Most of us are not impressive on others because we continue thinking and conversing about ourselves. Once talking to others talk about them and get them talking about themselves. This way you can become a most interesting conversationalist.

PEOPLE MUST FEEL IMPORTANT

The most pervasive characteristic of mankind is the desire to be important and to be recognized. So be skillful in human relations. Every time you ensure make people feel important the more they will respond to you.
